Location: San Juan Hills HS: 29211 Stallion Ridge, San Juan Capistrano, CA
Bus Schedule: 2:20 pm departure, 7:30 pm return departure
EVERYONE MUST RIDE THE BUS TO AND FROM THE RACE unless given prior approval. Early dismissal from class will be issued at 2:05 pm. Please let your teachers know so that you can arrange for a makeup assignment. Please fill out the Transportation Exemption Form if you are not riding the bus and have been approved in advance. This meet is on a school day, so anyone not riding the bus must be approved at least 48 hours in advance by not just the head coach but by our AD, as well.

2021 Race Recap
Congrats to everyone who competed at the CVAA Cluster meet! Overall, it was a great day, there were numerous PRs and smiles all around. With our varsity athletes sitting out this meet the lower-level runners got a chance to showcase their talent and shine!
Freshman Girls: The freshman girls are on a roll! The girls finished first with a total of 31 points and a 31-point lead over the second place team! Dakota(1st) and Addyson (2nd) moved up very nicely to take the lead together! Lucy (5th) also strategically moved up throughout the course and trailed not too far behind the leaders. Following Lucy was a nice big pack of girls. Avery (10th), Elizabeth (15th), Charlotte (17th), Kera (22nd) and Sara (24th) all worked to push each other. Camila finished with over a minute and 30 second PR and Holly and Sophia did great in their first 3 mile race! Our ROTM is Dakota!
Freshman Boys: Daniel (1st) once again took the lead and ran off with it, gapping the second place finisher by almost 30 seconds! Zander (9th) once again had a great race and a new PR of 36 seconds, just missing breaking 18! Following closely behind were Lukas (28th), and Moses (29th). Bringing in our top 7, Alex also had a 36 second PR, Luke had almost a 2 minute PR and Jackson had a PR of almost 4 minutes! Finally, Hunter, Caesar, Christian and Finian all had fine races, with some running new PRs! Jackson is our ROTM!
Sophomore Girls: Our sophomore girls were once again led by Leilani (2nd) who ran a very smart race. With a lot more left Leilani began gapping the 3rd and 4th place girls and PRd by 30 seconds! Following close behind was Christina (6th) who also moved up strategically, she PRd by 16 seconds and is getting closer and closer to going under 20 minutes! Coming in 3rd for ET sophomores was Emma S. running a great new PR of just under 2 minutes. Rounding out the sophomore girls team were Emma H, KC, and Katherine who all ran new PRs. Emma Schwald is this week’s ROTM!
Sophomore Boys: The sophomore boys team is filled with newcomers to cross country. They are beginning to get a taste of this sport and had a fine showing at their 4th ever cross country meet. The team was led by CJ who had a 2 minute PR! Following closely behind was Carson who ran a 1:30 PR and Yosfri who competed in his first ever cross country race. Rounding out the top 7 were Ian, Jason, Sanjeet, and Aiden. Carson is our ROTM!
JV Girls: Our JV girls had a nice showing at Dana Hills with lots of PRs around! Janice (2nd) was once again number 1 for the JV girls running 19:21, a 29 second PR. Closely Behind were Madison (4th) and Jessica (11th) both running under 20 minutes. Lexci (18th), Luisa (24th) and Brooke (26th) also had a great day, all running under 21 minutes! Rounding out the top 7 was Sthephany who ran a fine race. Lexci is our ROTM!
JV Boys: Nate (7th) is on a PR streak and is continuing to run smart and strategic races! He had a 20 second PR and was our number 1 boy for the day! Following closely behind was Aiden who is just coming off being sick. Tanner (Season PR) and Ryan were not far behind, followed by our fifth runner David. Riley, Matthew (2 PR), Hamzah (10 PR), Kevin (56 PR) and Evan (14 PR) round out our boys JV team for the day. Our ROTM is Kevin!
